What is Iress Essential?

Iress Essential is the complete Iress ViewPoint package developed by Iress Software Company to suit a users’ trading and market data needs. The Iress software combines state-of-the-art design, a simple and intuitive interface, real-time price streaming and live news, access to trade pre and post-market auctions, fast and easy order placement, the ability to set alerts on news and price levels. The software allows traders to customise and save multiple watchlists and access more than130 markets for a seamless online trading experience.

Iress Essential is compatible with Windows or Mac.

Is Iress Essential Free?

This platform is free of charge for all clients regardless of trading activity. Live streaming ASX data costs $20 (plus GST) per month though will be rebated if you trade 5 times or more in any calendar month in our ASX CFD contracts. Alternatively, this platform offers ASX data on a refresh basis free of charge to all clients.

Note that charges only apply for a calendar month if you log into the platform during that month.

The versions of FP Markets’ Iress trading platform are Iress ViewPoint, Iress Trader, Iress Investor and Iress Mobile. The data of the same account on FP Markets’ Iress trading platform are automatically synced between Iress Trader and Iress ViewPoint.

Unlike MT4 and MT5 trading platforms, there are certain fees involved using FP Markets’ Iress trading platform such as the setup fees, exchange fees and maintenance fees.
